William Shakespeare is the main and beloved playwright for Thomas Ostermeier: the director has already put four Shakespearean plays on a stage of Schaubühne Theatre. One of them, Hamlet- in the adaptation of Marius von Mayenburg, has already been in Moscow. The performance was the headliner of TERRITORIЯ festival 2010. Now Ostermeier prepares the fifth Shakespearean play, the premiere of Richard III is scheduled for February 2015. The director will show one of the most famous and challenging scenes – the moment of Richard seduction of Lady Anne next to the coffin of her husband.
