MASTER CLASS WITH ABOU AND NAWAL LAGRAA (LA BARAKA THEATRE COMPANY, ALGERIA/FRANCE)

Abou Lagraa is a French choreographer of the Algerian descent, a founder of La Baraka company. Nawal Lagraa is n charge of the educational part of the project “The Mediterranean Cultural Bridge“ within the framework of which the production of „Nya” was created.
The first part of the master class will be focused on the classical techniques in all its precision, study of the fundamental notions of the modern dance (space, time, weight, body, uninterrupted movement) and will also include yoga that helps bring out the connection between body and mind. The second part will concentrate on La Baraka stagings and the company's distinctive techniques.
