ABOUT PERFORMANCE
Nikolay Palazhchenko will share his experience in organising contemporary art exhibitions and festivals. He will speak about the functioning of exhibition spaces in Russia, the structure of the art world and the laws that govern it, discuss the development of art collecting and the factors that determine the success of contemporary artists.
Nikolay Palazhchenko is an art historian, manager, and critic, producer of exhibition projects and art collector. He studied at Moscow International Film School and in Yuri Nolev-Sobolev’s experimental class at St Petersburg Theatre Academy. He was among the founders of Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art and was its director from 2005 to 2007. He has been on the board of Winzavod foundation since 2007. He is the head of Art Management and Gallery Business program at RMA Business School in Moscow.
