We live in the age of questioning mediums. The contemporary stage creator or performer can be a renaissance being. In the era of DIY and post-internet aesthetics, the definition of what is theatre is shifting. People who work in contemporary theatre borrow from a variety of art forms, including visual art, dance, literature, video art and documentary genres — or reject all of the above. At Jason Holt’s workshop participants will work on tasks that help develop creative confidence essential in theatre.
Jason Morris Danino Holt is an interdisciplinary artist, theatre and film director, founder of an independent theatre company in Tel Aviv, artistic director at HABAIT theatre in Jaffa. He is a playwright, producer, translator, poet and TV presenter.
