ABOUT PERFORMANCE
Josef Nadj, a choreographer, stage director, artist, dancer, is well known among not only Europeans but also among Russian public. The twice laureate of the “Golden Mask“ Award (in nomination „The best foreign production, presented in Russia”), the participant of all first-rate international theatre festivals, the artistic director of Orleans National Choreographic Center and Avignon Festival-2006.
The Territory brings to Moscow the latest premiere of the French choreographer, “Entracte” — the fantasies, associations and visions, based on the Chinese “Book of Changes”. Four dancers (including Josef Nadj himself) and four musicians explore again the depths of the human psychic and subconsciousness, without saying a word, trying to limelight the inner energies that drive on the human's actions and fates. The productions by Nadj should not be bound by the confining strictures of traditional theatre. His productions are filled with the elements of circus, dance, pantomime and installation.
